Saputo Inc. congratulates the winners as well as all participants in the 28th season of the Mardis cyclistes de Lachine. The competition was an opportunity to enjoy performances by quality athletes gifted with remarkable talent and determination.
Proud to once again be involved in the Mardis cyclistes as sponsor-presenter, Saputo wishes to extend its heartiest congratulations to the organizers and most especially to Mr. Tino Rossi. Year after year this is an event that enjoys enormous success, a success that contributes to the promotion of cycling in Québec and to the development of our athletes.
Saputo believes in the virtues of sport and in the value of athletes being able to perform at the local level – which is why the Company is associated for example with the Fondation de l’Athlète d’Excellence du Québec, which supports cyclist Martin Gilbert, among others, a three-time champion of the Mardis cyclistes. The firm is also a founding partner of the Montreal Impact and a sponsor of the Québec Soccer Federation as well as of soccer associations across the province. In addition to championing several organizations, Saputo has established a number of partnerships in support of various causes, evidence of the importance the firm attaches to community commitment.
